This Coloplast catheter has a Coude tip on the end of the catheter. The Coude tip on this device is generally used to aid in the urinationof men who have enlarged prostates or who suffer from benign prostatic hyperplasia. In some situations, women may also have a need for this type of catheter. This Self-Cath Tieman Coude tip catheter is made with a Guide Strip indicator, which allows for the monitoring of catheter tip position throughout the catheterization process.
